I have been going to this salon for 9 years, since I was 14 years old. I had seen Taylor who was a fantastic stylist.... Unfortunately she left last year so I had to get a new stylist. I decided to stay with the salon and see someone new. Last time i got my hair done I was extremely satisfied with the service I got. When I went in today I asked if maybe I could get some more blonde as I had some dark spots underneath, Lolly said she had no problem doing that so i thought great this is going to look so good. When she went to blow dry my hair she had left so much soap it made my hair crusty so she washed it, twice. She said that I might get a little wet as she had to really get in the back of my head to get the product out, but i walked out with a completely soaked back. before she started drying i had some concerns that my hair was purple and she said it would fade when it dried, but it didn’t. i tried to speak to the store owner about my concerns and how I was not happy about my service and she said that they did what I asked and I was told to find a new salon. I was gaslight by the owner and my feelings were completely dismissed. I am extremely disappointed with them as I have been a very loyal client who has brought in plenary of business for them and always recommend them. Never again.read more

First time at this salon. I had a great experience with my stylist, India. The salon is beautiful and very welcoming.... India did a wonderful job with my color & new hairstyle. I’m looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend Avenue.read more

Nicolle was amazing. Just went in for a cut to get a feel for her, the place and quality of hair care. I had a... couple years worth of bad experiences which damaged my hair badly, so I've been gun shy to try yet again a new place and person....BUT, I really liked the vibe of the place, Nicolle was honest, pleasant and clearly knowledgeable of her craft. I made an appointment for color before I left...so... looks like we may have found our new spot!read more

Had an excellent time here. Dean was very friendly and I loved how my hair turned out. Receptionist offered a beverage... as soon as I walked in and confirmed my appointment. Comfortable wash chairs as well. Nice, calm atmosphere. Will definitely be coming again!read more

First, what a beautiful Salon. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted warmly, offered a beverage and asked to... take a seat while waiting for your stylist. The salon is really stylishly designed with spacious stations, lots of white and chrome giving it a very bright and airy feel. My stylist was Nicholle, a very friendly woman who spent time listening to what I wanted done. What a great experience. Nicholle is fantastic, I loved my haircut and my experience. My elderly mother also loved my haircut, and as she was looking for a new hairdresser she had me make her an appointment. Little did I know that when you as a client bring a new "client" you get rewarded! Yeah! Love this place. My mum also loves this place. We both highly recommend. I also want to add, when I made my appointment they sent a text to confirm as well as a telephone call a day prior to my appointment. All very professional. Price is comparable to other high end salons.read more

Taylor is my go-to professional for everything I need. On my first visit with her she did an amazing job fixing my hair... color problems; lots of gray, a lot of built up dark base color and some old dried out highlights... she made my hair healthy shiny and beautiful again! I really loved my cut too. Taylor also does top quality micro blading and cosmetic tattooing. The salon is beautiful and very clean and everyone is professional and friendly. I highly recommend Avenue Hair Design to anyone who wants the BEST but with reasonable service fees. Thank you Taylor! ?read more

From the moment you are greeted to the end you are going to want to back!Coffee ,juice or water is offered before you... sit down !With a dedicated warm and friendly receptionist. Love the accent:)My Stylist was India, she was very personable , really listened to what I wanted and performed the color and toning to exactly my wish.I really appreciated her hair care product information and went home withsome of them.She also told me about other hair care services that I might be interested in. Not pushy ,which is great ,but informational:)I right away booked my next appointment!Give this salon a try ask for India for any hair color needs and please say Rita Z referred you:)Generous referral rewards!Also Gift bag of goodies for 1st time clients!!!This owner sure has it going on:)read more

This salon is amazing! I booked my appointment after my sister had her hair colored by Kristy and was very pleased with... the results. From the moment I meant Kristy I knew I was in good hands. She listened to what I wanted and took time to ask questions about my hair and how I style it. I walked out feeling fabulous! Love my new style and booked my next appointment. Everyone there was very courteous and professional and the salon is clean and bright and set up so nicely. I highly recommend it for all your hair needs!read more

I recently had my first appointment at this salon with Miranda. She was absolutely amazing. I had not been to a salon... in over a year due to Covid, and she was able to do more with my hair in ONE appointment than others have been able to accomplish in years.She emailed with me prior to my appointment to understand my concerns regarding safety procedures. As soon as I arrived she sat down with me to go over PRECISELY what I hoped to accomplish, and did IT ALL. An amazing feat.I have EXTREMELY thick hair and typically take twice as long as most clients, but she did not scare easily:) She took her time and made sure everything was done properly, no matter how long she had to spend with me. I truly appreciated her professionalism and time spent.I was SO happy with the result and have recommended Miranda, and this salon to multiple people since my appointment.You will not be disappointed!read more

Am beyond pleased with my experience at Avenue. The place is gorgeous, clean and the staff are so kind and... professional! I went in for a haircut and was paired with Kristen, who I was told is great with short hair-- and they were so right! She gave me the best short haircut I've had in a long time and I am so grateful for it. If you have short hair or are venturing to short hair, I highly recommend Kristen. All of the staff were friendly and the atmosphere is clean and chic while also being comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for a great hair experience! ?♀️?♀️?read more

WOW!I am 9 months pregnant... got my hair highlighted at a different salon they did not do such a great job so, I came... to Avenue Hair Design... they changed my life truly. My daughter, Angelina, has curly hair. Every time I take her to get her hair done the stylist wants to flat iron her... hair. NO!!! She likes her curls! I found Ashley at Avenue Hair Design. She was amazing!!! She took her time to not just cut her hair but also explain how to take care of it. I could not be happier. I also want to mention how clean and welcoming the salon was. Great team and always a pleasure to spend time here getting my hair cut colored and styled. I cannot recommend Claire's... team highly enough and would say that they go above and beyond.
